iPhone SE-2. A legacy of an Apple Product.

There are no reasons to call the new 4.7inch iPhone as iPhone 9. because this is the perfect 2nd gen iPhone SE2 from every aspect. The same smaller screen, powerful hardware, and cheaper price.

So finally Apple released the 2nd gen iPhone SE, called iPhone SE2. I’m not an Apple fanboy but this time I appreciate this product.

So let’s see what else we got here.

Display:- The iPhone SE 2 comes with 4.7” Retina IPS display with the resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels which are protected by the oleophobic coating, Ion-strengthened glass.

Chipset:- Under the hood, you are getting the same hardware as Apple’s flagship iPhone 11. there is Apple A13 Bionic Chip (7nm+) Hexa-core (2×2.65 GHz Lightning + 4×1.8 GHz Thunder) with Apple GPU (4-core graphics).

RAM/Storage:- There is no SD card Slot as apple never supports it. But there is a penalty of options for storage .64/128/256GB and with 3GB RAM.

Cameras:- The SE 2 has the same camera setup as the last year’s iPhone 8, which comes with a 12MP sensor and an f/1.8 aperture for fairly decent low-light photos and a 7MP front-facing camera. But you cant compare this with the iPhone 11.

Battery:- The iPhone SE 2 comes with a smaller battery which is Li-Ion 1821 mAh battery but the A13 is a very efficient chip so even which this battery capacity you can easily get 4-5 hours screen on time.

Additional features:- SE2 supports fast charging out of the box and also supports Qi wireless charging. There is also support for IP67 dust/water resistant (up to 1m for 30 mins).

Conclusion:- I’m not an apple fan but if I need to buy any iPhone I will go for the SE2. because it’s powerful and also cheap. Moreover, this is the only device that brings back the legacy design of older iPhones with touchID.

A quarter-century later, the technology that I coveted as a kid is woven into the fabric of everyday life. I’ve spent the past years to learn these technologies, I recently published a book on computer science fundamentals. People say smartphones are boring these days, but I think everyone is beginning to take this wonderful technology marvel for granted.
