AMD may hit back with the Rezen 3 ZEN core 2 architecture. Based on a leak AMD is working on the Ryzen 3 budget CPU with the ZEN Core 2 against Intel’s looming 10th Generation Comet Lake-S Core i3.
AMD never produced a successor to the previous generation (2000-series) Ryzen 3 chips.
However @momomo_us pointing to alleged Ryzen 3 3300X and Ryzen 3 3100 models, which cloud be based on new ZEN 2 architecture.
The new Intel’s 10th Gen I3-10320, I3-10300, and I3-10100 has 4 cores and 8 Threads base clock around 3.6 to 3.8Ghz and unknown boosts speed but with the Hyper-Threading.
Moreover, the new Ryzen 3 3300X Ryzen 3 3100 chips also have 4cores and 8 Threads and unknown base clock but the boots clock is around 3.9 to 4.3Ghz. But if we take a look at previous Ryzen chips then there are 100% possibilities for an unlocked multiplier which means you can overclock it easily.
We already have Zen 2 AMD chips like Ryzen 5 3500 or 3500x and those supports PCIe 4.0 and so we could expect that from the new Ryzen 3 chips.
